Jamain Brigitha | Dream Woman

Jamain Brigitha knows how to make dreams come true. She is founding director and curator of Dream Amsterdam Foundation, as well as an advisor arts and culture. She is an expert in making exhibitions; organising, producing and coordinating events with a focus on art in public space and site-specific projects; funding and sponsoring; strategy and policy-making; marketing and communication (including branding, social media, and storytelling).

Jamain Brigitha works as a photographer, visual artist, curator, programmer, and concept-developer on various international art projects, events, exhibitions and manifestations, for example DREAM AMSTERDAM, DREAM COPENHAGEN, The Caribbean Housewife, and SI Galleri.

Jamain Brigitha is a versatile, creative pioneer, who finishes what she starts. She’s known for her cultural entrepreneurship and perseverance. She has achieved international praise and media-exposure for her projects, for instance, The Guardian, The New York Times, Reuters, Associated Press, BBC, and CNN.

In 2012, TEDxAmsterdamWomen selected her as one of the most prominent female entrepreneurs in Amsterdam in the category culture. Jamain Brigitha gives presentations, lectures and talks, like for instance at ENTER | ART held at Kunsthal Rotterdam, the Netherlands (May 2013).
